American alternative rock band Vertical Horizon performed at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila on June 5, 2014. This show was part of their third visit to the Philippines.
They performed major hits like "Everything You Want," "Best I Ever Had," and "You're a God". Lead singer Matt Scannell praised the "swanky" setting, noting it was the first time they played in such a beautiful theater in Manila. The band dedicated their song "Forever" to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.
