Founded in 1979 by Renen de Guia, Ovation Productions has spent over four decades bringing the world's greatest live entertainment to Filipino audiences. From its earliest shows, Ovation didn't just serve Metro Manila — it pioneered international concerts across all major provincial cities in the country, expanding the market for global artists in ways no one had done before. That trailblazing spirit earned the company the prestigious Trailblazer Award from FILSCAP.
Over the years, Ovation has produced landmark concerts by some of the most iconic names in music — including Lady Gaga's first-ever headlining tour stop in Manila in 2009, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Mariah Carey, Metallica, Sting, Backstreet Boys, Westlife, and many more. Each show has been a testament to Ovation's commitment to world-class live experiences for Filipino audiences.
In 2017, Ovation expanded into Southeast Asia with the founding of Ovation Productions Singapore, bringing the company's decades of live entertainment expertise to one of the region's most competitive markets. In 2025, that expansion continued with the establishment of Ovation Productions Hong Kong, further solidifying Ovation's presence as a pan-Asian live entertainment company.
To support regional ticketing, Ovation launched OvationTickets.com in partnership with SISTIC, Singapore's leading ticketing platform — making live events more accessible across the region.
A Sister Venture: BlastTV Beyond live events, the de Guia family's entertainment ecosystem extends into streaming. BlastTV (blasttv.ph), founded in 2023 under sister company Tap Digital Media Ventures, is a free ad-supported platform featuring 20+ live channels spanning sports and entertainment, alongside a rich library of on-demand content including movies, TV series, news, and factual programming.
