This was a highly anticipated milestone because the band's originally scheduled debut Philippine concert in January 2010 (for the Day & Age tour) was unexpectedly canceled.
Frontman Brandon Flowers famously opened the 2013 show by greeting the crowd with, "Mabuhay, Manila! Sa wakas, The Killers are here! Thank you for not giving up on us!"
