Tears for Fears performed at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on May 2, 2010.
It was a highly anticipated event, marking the first time the British duo—Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith—performed in the Philippines.
They opened with a re-fashioned version of "Mad World" and performed major hits like "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," "Sowing the Seeds of Love," "Head Over Heels," and "Shout".
The venue was "packed to the rafters" and sold out days in advance.
A "One-Night-Only" Success: Due to its massive success, the band returned to the same venue just two years later for two more shows on August 10 and 11, 2012.
