SPANDAU BALLET (2015)

The British New Wave band Spandau Ballet performed live in the Philippines on Monday, September 21, 2015, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The concert was part of the Asian leg of their Soul Boys of the Western World Tour.

It marked the first and only time the full band ever performed in the Philippines.

Special Guest: Per Sorensen, the vocalist of the Norwegian New Wave band Fra Lippo Lippi, did serve as the special opening guest

The band performed their biggest iconic tracks, including "True", "Gold", and "Through the Barricades".

Four out of five original members—Tony Hadley, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp, and Steve Norman—made it to the Manila stage. Unfortunately, their original drummer John Keeble fell ill and could not make the trip to the Philippines.
