This show was the very first concert promoted by Ovation Productions. At the time, Leif Garrett was a massive teen idol, often compared to the modern-day popularity of Justin Bieber.
His performance included hit songs like "I Was Made for Dancin'".
Following the success of his 1979 debut, Garrett returned for another concert at the same venue on June 18, 1980. Ovation Productions' founder, Renen de Guia, started the company with this specific 1979 event.
