An Evening with JAMES TAYLOR & his All-Star Band (2024)

James Taylor and his All-Star Band performed at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 8, 2024. This performance was significant because it was his return to Manila after exactly 30 years, following his 1994 show at the Folk Arts Theater.

Ice Seguerra and Noel Cabangon opened the concert. They performed a medley of their respective hits, "Pagdating ng Panahon" and "Kanlungan."

This concert was highly anticipated because Taylor had famously canceled a planned 2017 Manila performance to take a political stand against the extrajudicial killings associated with the country's drug war at the time. He addressed the long delay, saying, "It took a very, very long time. Thanks for having us back."

His setlist included classics like "Fire and Rain," "Your Smiling Face," and "You've Got a Friend."
