Don McLean (2011)

The legendary American singer-songwriter Don McLean performed live at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, on March 2, 2011.

McLean performed his classic timeless tracks like "American Pie" and "Vincent" to a massive crowd of approximately 10,000 to 12,000 fans.

McLean later fondly recalled playing at the same legendary indoor arena that hosted the historic "Thrilla in Manila" boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.
