American illusionist and endurance artist David Blaine brought his "Real or Magic" Asia Tour to Manila on September 12, 2014.
The event was held live at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and was promoted locally by Ovation Productions.
During the 90-minute show, Blaine performed iconic acts including spouting fire after swallowing liters of water, piercing his hand with an ice pick without bleeding, and classic up-close card tricks.
He concluded the show by successfully holding his breath underwater for 10 minutes and 29 seconds inside a massive water tank on stage.
While in the country, Blaine also visited a community in Quezon City to perform street magic for residents and famously met with Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.
